Following is a brief description of board positions, adapted from the GHHA By-laws notebook given to every in-coming board member.

President Jennifer Stevenson (president@goldenhillshoa.org) : “The president shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors, shall see that orders and resolutions of the board are carried out.”

Vice President Elaine Knight (vicepresident@goldenhillshoa.org): “The vice president shall act in the place and stead of the president in the event of his absence, inability or refusal to act. The vice president shall exercise and discharge such other duties as may be required of the position by the board.” Typically this involves attending community meetings and reporting back to the board information and relevance.

Secretary Kimber Chafin (secretary@goldenhillshoa.org): Keep minutes and record votes of all meetings and proceedings. Responsible for the retention of all association’s records.

Treasurer Jeanette Van Doren (treasurer@goldenhillshoa.org) : “The treasurer shall receive and deposit in appropriate bank accounts all monies of the association and shall disperse such funds as directed by resolution of the board of Directors, shall sign all checks and promissory notes of the association. A compilation of the association’s books shall be made by a public tax preparer at the completion of each fiscal year per records provided by the treasurer. The treasurer shall prepare an annual budget and a statement of income and expenditures to be presented to the membership at its regular annual meeting and deliver a copy of each to the members.”

Director for Architectural Control James Moeller (architecturalcontrol@goldenhillshoa.org): “Exercise best judgment to see that all structures, improvements, construction, decorating and landscaping on the properties conform to and harmonize with the existing surroundings and structures.”

Director for Common Area Kevin Paulsen (commonarea@goldenhillshoa.org): “The Director shall advise the Board on all matters pertaining to the maintenance, repair, improvements and any homeowner concerns of GHHA common area properties…”

Director for Covenants Katie Ponder (covenants@goldenhillshoa.org) : The Director is responsible for interpretation and enforcement of the Declaration of Covenants of the GHHA.

Special Events Coordinator Vacant (specialevents@goldenhillshoa.org) : Organize special events and refreshments for meetings.
